Helpful Information for painted custom leather
How long will the art work last?
It all depends on how the leather article is treated. If it's worn every day for work, socialising or for moderate to heavy activities... don't expect them to last longer than a week without seeing cracks and chips in the paint. You can expect the paint to last over a year during light physical activities. Leather items are painted with high quality Angelus paints, in a durability focused process, with the intentions of being wearable art. As these are 'one-in-a-million' custom designs, I would personally only show them off for special occasions. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements further.
How long should I expect to wait for my custom design to arrive?
On average, designs usually have a 2 - 4 week turnaround depending on the complexity of detail involved and the number of orders that are being worked on. So, for a realistic estimate, projects can vary from 1 week to 6 weeks. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements further.
Can you customise my old existing leather goods?
Absolutely. By customising your old or new existing goods, you'll be saving money as there is no charge for purchasing brand new goods for me to paint on; I only ask that the goods to be worked on are clean and not in too poor condition. Please note that if extra cleaning or repairs have to be made by me when you send your goods in, you could incur extra charges. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements further.
How do I clean and care for the art and paint work?
To clean you should use a gentle wiping action with a moist cloth or a non alcohol wet wipe. Do not put leather goods in the washing machine or use heavy detergents. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements further.

How long will the art work last on rubber?
Among the custom painting community, it is well known that painting on rubber or soles isn't advisable as the art work will peel and crack faster than anywhere else on most trainers. However if this is something you still want to go ahead with I will be happy to do so.
Does customising my electronics void their warranty?
Unfortunately it does. In order for me to paint the electronics I have to open up the appliance to avoid liquids and paints interfering with the internals which voids the warranty.
How long will the art work last on plastics?
It all depends on how they're treated. If you are mistreating it and being careless you should expect to see some damage and wear. You can expect them last years if you are using them casually and carefully. They are painted with high quality Angelus paints, in a durability focused process, with the intentions of being usable art. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements further.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is free. however shipping outside of the UKÂ can be expensive and will be added to the total cost.
